Black Soap Can Be Used as a Wetting Solution to Treat Fungal Diseases
Black soap is also very good used as a wetting solution to treat garden fungal diseases. As a wetting solution, the black soap mixture facilitates the dispersion and penetration of products such as a Bordeaux mixture for fungicide treatment, or as an addition to sodium bicarbonate for mildew prevention.
Dosages for Using Black Soap as a Wetting Solution to Treat Fungal Diseases:
1. Adding to Bordeaux mixture: 1 tablespoon of soft black soap per 1 quart.
2. For mildew prevention, dilute 2.5 grams of sodium bicarbonate in one quart of water, add one teaspoon of soft black soap.
